Zoom Flash sale site @GiltGroupe has launched the luxury fashion industry’s first Google Chrome Web App, providing a streamlined pageless shopping experience via createthegroup. “Our strategy behind Gilt for Chrome is twofold,” said Esther Park, senior product manager at Gilt Groupe, New York. “First, it is an R&D platform for us – we want to utilize the latest technology to develop the best shopping experience possible. “Second, we wanted to address some of the customer pain points we hear from our male customers,” she said.
